1950s Miro

Joan Miro was a spanish artist , sculptor and ceramicist born in Barcelona. His art style can be interpreted in many ways such as surrealism and color blocking. Miro’s early art was inspired by Vincent van Gogh and Paul Cezanne using art styles like cubism. In a point of Joan Miro career he took an interest in the form of art work, where he worked with many collages. This eventually led him to making surrealist sculptures. Miro didn’t like to be identified as a surrealist because he liked to explore didn’t art styles.
